About The Hatfield Arrow
The Hatfield Arrow is distributed to 3000 homes each month in Hatfield, Hatfield Woodhouse and Dunsville. Hatfield, which is situated 7 miles north east of Doncaster, has grown from a small South Yorkshire Village into a town with a Mayor and a council. It is known for its historical tradition with hunting as it is sited on the original Hatfield Chase. Hatfield is home to many local shops, pubs, a post office, library and the historical St Lawrence Church.
The Hatfield Arrow includes articles submitted by local people for local people. It includes news and information from around the area including monthly articles from Hatfield Woodhouse Primary School, Hatfield Travis School and Hatfield Visual Arts College. It also features a regular Advice column written by Thorne Citizens Advice Bureau and regular driving advice from Doncaster Advanced Motorists.
In addition to the regular articles, local people submit up to date news and event details and with the inclusion of the kids page and Peter Wrights monthly article (which are always a delight to read and always endeavour to put a smile on your face) there is something for everyone. People of all ages look forward to their issue of the Hatfield Arrow each month being posted through their door.
The ‘Someone Special’ feature allows anyone in the Hatfield Area to nominate a person that they feel deserve something special. We then choose one person each month to receive some flowers courtesy of Charlottes Florist of Hatfield. The details will also be announced each month on the local radio station, Trax Fm.
The Hatfield Arrow is designed to bring local information, and local Doncaster business details to each home and business in Hatfield, Hatfield Woodhouse and Dunsville. Many local businesses advertise in the magazine allowing for local people to find and use local businesses with ease.
